From Its 2024 Launch in Japan to a Major Annual Industry Event
The conference was launched in Adelaide, Australia, in 2010 and has grown into an international platform focused on hotel operations and investment. The Adelaide edition held in May 2025 welcomed a record 1,600 delegates, making it the largest hotel industry event in the Asia-Pacific region.
Against this background, the conference expanded to Japan for the first time in 2024. As Japan’s first specialized event combining hotel operations and investment, it made a strong debut and brought together executives from leading hotel, aviation and tourism companies in the country from its inaugural edition.
The second edition in 2025 attracted more than 300 industry leaders from Japan and overseas. For the third edition in 2026, the conference is expected to welcome 500 participants, significantly exceeding the previous year’s attendance. The event has established itself as an important annual platform for information exchange and networking within Japan’s hotel industry.
