Tradimo Kyoto Gojo, Hilton Grand Vacations Club to Open on March 18, 2026A timeshare resort in Kyoto offering all-suite accommodations of 50 square meters or more, designed for extended stays
A new style of stay will be introduced in Kyoto, a historic city that continues to attract travelers from around the world. Hilton Grand Vacations will open Tradimo Kyoto Gojo, Hilton Grand Vacations Club—its first timeshare resort in Kyoto—on March 18, 2026. Following properties in Odawara and Sesoko Island, this will be the company’s third resort in Japan. Located in the central area of Kyoto, where history and culture are deeply rooted, the property aims to provide a vacation experience that allows guests to travel as if they were living in the destination.

A well-located property and facilities designed for a residential-style stay in Kyoto
Convenient access just a one-minute walk from the subway station, suitable as a base for sightseeing
Tradimo Kyoto Gojo is located approximately a one-minute walk from Gojo Station on the Kyoto Municipal Subway, offering a highly convenient location. It is also one stop from Kyoto Station, the main gateway to the city, and provides easy access to major attractions such as Gion, Nishiki Market, and various UNESCO World Heritage sites. The property is positioned as an ideal base for both tourism and business in Kyoto. In addition, the Shijo and Kawaramachi areas, which form the city center, are within walking distance. While allowing guests to enjoy a relatively शांत environment away from the busy city streets, the location also supports travel to other major Kansai destinations such as Osaka, Nara, and Kobe.
A total of 63 rooms, all over 50 square meters, with in-room facilities suited for extended stays
The 10-story property offers a total of 63 guest rooms. All rooms are one-bedroom units of 50 square meters or more and can accommodate up to four guests. Each room is equipped with a kitchen that includes an IH cooktop, microwave, and full-size refrigerator. Additional amenities such as a dishwasher, tableware, washing machine, and dryer are also provided, enabling a comfortable extended stay experience similar to living at home with family or friends.

Design that integrates Kyoto’s tradition with modernity
A spatial concept inspired by traditional Kyoto townhouses
The name “Tradimo” is a coined term representing the fusion of tradition and modernity. In line with this concept, the property features spaces that reinterpret Kyoto’s traditional aesthetics in a contemporary manner. At the core of the design is the concept of “oku,” a spatial depth derived from kyo-machiya, traditional wooden townhouses in Kyoto. Each guest room includes a living and dining area designed as a modern adaptation of a traditional tatami room, allowing guests to experience Kyoto’s cultural heritage in a contemporary setting.
A new experience incorporating the philosophy of kintsugi
The design also reflects the philosophy of kintsugi, a traditional Japanese technique that repairs broken or chipped objects by embracing their imperfections and transforming them into new value. By connecting Japan’s seasonal sensibilities and cultural traditions with the comfortable Western-style lifestyle offered by Hilton Grand Vacations, the property aims to provide a unique stay experience. In October 2025, Yuma Nishi, who has extensive experience in luxury hotels, was appointed as General Manager, with the aim of delivering high-quality hospitality.
Contribution to the local community and sustainable tourism
Hilton Grand Vacations places importance on its relationship with the local community in which it operates. In 2025, the company made a donation to the Kyoto City Landscape and Town Development Center, a public interest foundation, to support the preservation of kyo-machiya and local urban development initiatives that inspired the design concept. The company has also participated in volunteer activities for processions of major Kyoto festivals such as the Jidai Matsuri and Aoi Matsuri, contributing to the preservation and continuation of local cultural traditions. This commitment to protecting sustainable tourism resources and revitalizing local communities is a defining feature of the resort.
A premium vacation experience in Kyoto
Tradimo Kyoto Gojo, Hilton Grand Vacations Club operates under a timeshare model, in which owners purchase usage rights to the resort on an annual or biennial basis. Pricing starts from JPY 5.2 million for an annual seven-night plan and from JPY 3.4 million for a biennial seven-night plan. Dedicated staff are available to propose plans tailored to individual budgets and needs.
