TechGALA Japan 2026: BEYOND in Nagoya / Highlights of the Global Innovation Event, December 15–17
TechGALA Japan 2026:BEYOND will be held over three days, from December 15 to 17, 2026, in the Sakae and Tsuruma districts of Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture.
Ahead of the event, the organizers have launched the official teaser website and announced the opening of applications for side events, along with the appointment of the event’s ambassadors.

TechGALA: A Technology Festival Bringing Together Innovators from Around the World
TechGALA is a technology festival focused on opening new possibilities for the future of the planet. Professionals leading various fields in today’s society gather from around the world for this global event, which creates international networks across areas such as innovative technologies and social innovation.
The previous edition welcomed more than 5,500 visitors. It featured 140 sessions, 420 speakers, and 250 exhibitors. More than 1,050 business meetings were also held during the event.

2026 Event to Be Held in December Under the Theme “BEYOND”
TechGALA Japan 2026:BEYOND will take place from December 15 to 17, 2026. The program will feature conferences, pitch competitions, business matching sessions, networking events, exhibitions, side events, and art and music programs.
The previous edition was held from January 27 to 29, meaning the 2026 event will move forward by approximately six weeks. This year’s theme, “BEYOND,” reflects the event’s vision of creating new collaborations that transcend existing industries and building a strong innovation ecosystem that connects the region with the world.
As in the previous edition, the event will be held across central Nagoya, adopting a citywide format. Venues include the Chunichi Building and Nadya Park in the Sakae district, as well as STATION Ai, one of Japan’s largest open innovation hubs, located in the Tsuruma district.
The official teaser website is now available, and applications for sponsors and side event organizers have also opened.

Eight Ambassadors from Japan and Overseas to Promote TechGALA Globally
To communicate the appeal of the event in Japan and overseas, TechGALA has appointed prominent entrepreneurs, investors, and other professionals as ambassadors.
At present, three overseas ambassadors and five domestic ambassadors are participating, supporting the event’s publicity and PR activities. Additional ambassadors are expected to be announced, further expanding TechGALA’s domestic and international networks while supporting awareness building and community development.
Participant-Led Side Events: First Application Deadline Set for September 30
Side events allow participants themselves to serve as organizers. In addition to networking parties, participants can plan a wide range of events, including seminars, workshops, and karaoke gatherings.
The first application deadline is Wednesday, September 30.
