The Japan Association for the 2027 International Horticultural Expo (official name: Public Interest Incorporated Association for the 2027 International Horticultural Expo) has announced that advance sales of admission tickets for GREEN×EXPO 2027 will begin on March 19, 2026, one year prior to the opening of the Expo.

Advance Sales Begin March 19: Early-Bird One-Day Ticket ¥4,900; Season Pass ¥28,000

Advance tickets will include early-bird one-day passes as well as multi-entry passes such as a full-season pass and a summer pass. Tickets will be available through the official ticket website, travel agencies, and major ticketing platforms nationwide.

The early-bird price for a one-day adult ticket is 4,900 yen (tax included). A full-season pass, which allows unlimited entry throughout the Expo period, is priced at 28,000 yen (tax included).

All prices are in Japanese yen and include tax. An additional fee of 100 yen (tax included) will apply for paper tickets. Age categories are based on the visitor’s full age as of April 1, 2027. However, for admissions in March 2027, age classifications as of April 1, 2026 will apply. Children aged three and under may enter free of charge without a ticket.

Tickets will be sold through the official ticket website in both digital and paper formats (paper tickets require an additional fee).

About GREEN×EXPO 2027

The 2027 International Horticultural Expo (GREEN×EXPO 2027) will be held from March 19 to September 26, 2027, at the former Kamiseya Communications Facility site in Yokohama.

Recognized as an A1-class international horticultural exposition—the highest category for such events—the Expo marks Japan’s first hosting of an international horticultural exposition of this class since the 1990 International Garden and Greenery Exposition in Osaka.

Under the theme “Scenery of the Future for Happiness,” the Expo will present a vision of a sustainable society through the power of flowers and greenery. The event will feature international garden exhibitions and showcase advanced environmental technologies. Organizers expect more than 15 million visitors over the course of the Expo. The official mascot, “Tunk Tunk,” has already been unveiled, and preparations are steadily progressing toward the 2027 opening.
