October 30–November 9: Japan Mobility Show 2025 — Event Overview and Highlighted Exhibitors at Tokyo Big Sight, Japan’s Largest Mobility Festival

Carrying forward the excitement and passion of the Tokyo Motor Show cherished for roughly 70 years, the Japan Mobility Show—nicknamed “MobiShow” since its 2023 relaunch—returns this year. Organized by the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association (JAMA), the event will run for 11 days from Thursday, October 30 to Sunday, November 9, 2025, at Tokyo Big Sight. Under the concept “Let’s go explore an exciting future!” and driven by the aspiration to build “a rich, dream-filled mobility society,” the show continues evolving into a co-creation platform that goes beyond transportation. It’s a large-scale event where every visitor—from car and motorcycle enthusiasts to children, families, and business professionals—can have moving experiences.

Japan Mobility Show 202

Experience future mobility through three themes

The outline of JMS2025 is structured around three main themes—FUTURE (the future image of mobility), CULTURE (mobility itself), and CREATION (the business of mobility)—designed to spark excitement for Japan’s yet-unseen future.

Tokyo Future Tour 2035 (FUTURE): Encounter the future image

As a program that excites visitors about the future of mobility, a second edition of the popular Tokyo Future Tour—Tokyo Future Tour 2035—will be held. This exhibition lets you experience near-future technologies about ten years ahead and the lifestyle changes they will bring. As of September 10, more than 150 companies and organizations from a variety of industries will participate, presenting a vision of Tokyo in 2035. Visitors can experience air-mobility scenes through test rides, everyday life shaped by advances in AI and digital technology, and freely designable, shape-shifting mobility inspired by user ideas.

Enjoy mobility culture (CULTURE)

The Mobility Culture Program will also be presented to celebrate mobility itself. Focusing on how cars and motorcycles intersect with people’s lives and values, the program includes the Mobility Culture Exhibition in East Hall 7, where legendary vehicles symbolizing culture and the spirit of the times from past to present return to deliver heart-pounding experiences.

In the outdoor area, there will be demo runs that showcase the performance of various next-generation fuels, as well as powerful demonstrations and ride-along experiences with racing cars, historic cars, and SUVs. In addition, there will be displays of supercars, custom cars, and camper vans; a popular Tomica booth; and a “kei-truck market” featuring specialty products from around Japan—programs designed for visitors of all ages.

Accelerate business co-creation (CREATION)

As a place to get excited about the business of mobility, Startup Future Factory will be set up. Aiming to expand the mobility industry, it strongly supports business co-creation between startups and established companies. The program features Exhibition Street, with over 120 exhibitors, and Pitch Contest & Awards organized by business stage, creating opportunities for wider business collaboration. In addition, the talk stage “Future Mobility Conference” adopts the motto “The future is something we create together,” with special sessions by JAMA’s chair and vice chairs and a variety of talks on themes that are engaging both for business co-creation and for general visitors.
