Hilton Fukuoka Sea Hawk to Renovate Executive Rooms and Lounge on October 1, 2026, Offering Views of Momochihama Seaside District
Hilton Fukuoka Sea Hawk, a landmark hotel in Fukuoka, the largest city in Kyushu, will undergo its first major renovation in 14 years since 2012. On October 1, 2026, five types of Executive Rooms located on the 30th and 31st floors will reopen following the renovation, while the Executive Lounge will be relocated to the 5th floor and reopened with a new design.
The renovated guest rooms and lounge have been designed as refined spaces offering views of Fukuoka’s skies, sea and cityscape, including the seaside Momochihama district, which has been recognized as one of Japan’s “100 Selected Urban Landscapes.” This article explores the key features of the renovated Executive Rooms and newly relocated Executive Lounge, as well as the experience they offer at one of Fukuoka’s best-known waterfront hotels.

Panoramic Views of the Seaside Momochi District, Named One of Japan’s “100 Selected Urban Landscapes”
The five types of Executive Rooms being renovated have been designed around the concept of “harmony between the natural environment of Hakata Bay and Fukuoka as an international city.” The rooms feature interiors that reinterpret modern design for a contemporary setting, creating a distinctive atmosphere from the moment guests open the door.
From the room windows, guests can enjoy panoramic views of the Seaside Momochi district, which was selected as one of Japan’s “100 Selected Urban Landscapes.” The rooms offer an opportunity to appreciate both the area’s abundant marine and natural surroundings and Fukuoka’s appeal as an international city.
The views from the hotel’s upper floors provide a distinctive perspective of the surrounding city and waterfront, offering guests a setting in which to relax and refresh during their stay.

Executive King and Executive Twin Rooms for Business Stays and Hotel Getaways
The Executive King and Executive Twin rooms, each accommodating up to two guests, are designed to provide a more comfortable stay for business travelers and other guests. Rates start at JPY 31,000 per room, with room sizes ranging from 23.9 sq. m. to 31 sq. m. The Executive King features a 180-cm-wide bed, while the Executive Twin offers two 120-cm-wide beds, providing ample sleeping space.
The rooms are also suited to the growing trend of “hokance,” a Japanese term referring to enjoying a hotel stay as a leisure experience in itself. Views of Fukuoka’s sky, sea and cityscape from the upper floors create a setting away from the routines of everyday life. Guests can also enjoy a comfortable stay surrounded by well-appointed amenities and refined interiors.
