Alongside interactions with characters from the original work and NPCs, it features a two-character switching battle system designed for one-handed play and emphasizes strategies based on character combinations. Action RPG Solo Leveling: KARMA presents an original story in which Sung Jinwoo fights the 27-year Monarch War in the dimensional gap not depicted in the original work or television anime. It features isometric hack-and-slash gameplay and combo actions using summoned shadows. The mobile bishōjo-style RPG Pearl in Blue will offer a playable version of its opening section, which is still under development. Digital Hollywood University: Eight student-made works, from games to an immersive esports viewing system

Digital Hollywood Games

Eight works created by students participating in the university’s Digital Hollywood Games production community will be presented. The exhibited works will rotate by time slot, and visitors will be able to play them. The lineup includes Mask Mystique, a suspense adventure in which a small cat explores a world covered in masks; Seikai no Kioku, a 3D action adventure set in a submerged universe; InvI, in which players switch between top-down and side-scrolling perspectives; Supamon Sōseiki, which expands its world through land development; FRONTLINE GUARDIAN, a real-time strategy game involving city management and defense; Explorer, a survival horror game set on a devastated planet; and Project STG, a traditional side-scrolling shooter. The exhibit will also present MS³, an immersive system that synchronizes light, sound, vibration and scent with in-game events, transforming esports viewing from something audiences “watch” into something they “feel.” Digital Hollywood Games is a project in which students form teams across nationalities and academic years and repeatedly develop and exhibit works on campus.
